Construction Project Manager

A Construction Supervisor / Co-Ordinator is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational biopharmaceutical client in Limerick for a full time onsite, initial 12-month contract role.

The Construction Supervisor / Co-Ordinator will join our Site Projects team. The candidate should have previous experience of construction co-ordination, preferably in the Pharmaceutical / Bio Pharmaceutical industries.

THE ROLE:

• Manage daily scheduling and prioritization of work activities to ensure efficient task allocation and timely completion.
• Review and filter incoming work requests, directing them to the appropriate teams or contractors.
• Review and approve RAMS to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Arrange and coordinate site access for staff, contractors, and visitors in line with required procedures.
• Liaise with Area Representatives to communicate planned works and address local operational needs.
• Issue and sign work permits, ensuring all safety and procedural controls are in place.
• Work closely with HSE representatives to support safe working practices and resolve safety concerns.
• Monitor contractor training and competencies to ensure all required certifications remain current.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred along with 5 years or more experience in Construction environments
• Candidate must have proficiency in a windows-based environment and software (Word, PowerPoint, project, advanced excel and access)
• Good communication skills essential.
