Credit controller

A Credit Controller is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork city based client. Permanent role with a well-established nationwide provider of refrigeration and air conditioning solutions.

THE ROLE: 

* Maintaining accurate records; allocating cash receipts against invoices, issue of customer statements, chase unpaid invoices and so on.

* Collection of amounts due from customers on a timely basis. 

* Checking customer’s credit eligibility and inputting into the approval process. 

* Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions 

* Opening new accounts as applicaitons are approved.

* Issue warranty and unused credits before month end.

* Implementing changes in the company’s credit control system 

* Liasing with the accounts and engineering team to answer queries as they arise from customers.

* Run month end reports to close each month.  

REQUIREMENTS:

* Experienced Credit controller with at least 3+ years experience ideally in an SME.

* Experience with Sage software is desirable
