EHS Professional

An EHS PROFESSIONAL is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational biopharmaceutical client in Limerick for a full time onsite, initial 12-month contract role.

The EHS PROFESSIONAL will join the dedicated Health, Safety Environmental (HSE) Team and play an integral part in developing, maintaining and continually improving the HSE Systems/Programs at the new manufacturing site.

THE ROLE:

• Site program owner of several Safety/Health programmes such as but not limited contractor safety, high risk permitting, confined space, lone working.
• Provide specialist advice and technical support/expertise to the site to ensure compliance with Safety/Health legislation, corporate standards, policies and industry guidance.
• Support the development of a safety culture with integrated safety practices and open safety conversations.
• Develop and deliver high quality Safety/Health training and communications.
• Understand and implement Safety/Health requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Support site audits and self-assessments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety (or related subject)
• Minimum of 2-4 years relevant professional experience in a manufacturing facility (Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated Industry)
