EHS Quality Coordinator

An EHS and Quality Coordinator is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Mallow based engineering client. The person will support standards and audit for health & safety, quality and client certifications. This is initially a 12 month fixed term contract. 

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Lean systems.

• Conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal company standards.

• Recording and addressing Corrective Actions and Concern Forms across Quality, Environmental, and Operational domains.

• Participating in internal and external audits including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)

• Managing and maintaining the calibration system for electrical and mechanical measurement equipment

• Supporting and driving Lean initiatives and various continuous improvement projects across the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified in LEAN Six Sigma, Green belt or higher preferable.

• Qualification in Health and Safety would be an advantage

• Experience of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 is necessary.

• Experience with certifications, compliance standards, and regulated industry requirements.

• Relevant third level qualification needed
