HR Business Partner

An experienced HR Business is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with a Galway based manufacturing company – 11 months maternity cover contract. THE ROLE:

• Administer and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and timely updates of employee data.
• Produce HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and compliance requirements.
• Maintain personnel files in line with GDPR and company standards.
• Lead end-to-end employee relations case management, including performance, disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability cases.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., leave entitlements, working time, pension obligations).
• Coach managers on goal setting, feedback, performance improvement, and development planning.
• Partner with line managers across manufacturing, operations, and support functions on day-to-day people-related activities.
• Support the in-house recruitment process from requisition to onboarding.
• Ensure HR practices are compliant with Irish employment law and company policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years’ relevant experience in a HR Generalist or HRBP role, ideally within manufacturing or a fast-paced operational environment.
• Level 7/8 qualification in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
