HR Business Partner

A HR Business Partner is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Fermoy, Cork based food production client. The HRBP will be responsible for implementing corporate HR policies and managing all human resources activities at the Ireland site. The role combines both strategic and operational responsibilities, ensuring talent retention, employee engagement, and the development of high-performing teams.

THE ROLE:

• Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers at the site.
• Translate business strategy and operational objectives into people plans, including workforce planning, capability development, and organisational design.
• Provide HR data and key metrics (turnover, absenteeism, labour costs, shift productivity) to support business decision-making.
• Manage employee relations processes, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and employee administration matters.
• Advise and coach line managers on handling sensitive employee issues and people management challenges.
• Identify key talent, succession plans, and career development opportunities for critical production and technical roles.
• Lead or support organisational change initiatives, including restructurings, production line changes, automation projects, and business integrations.
• Advise on salary benchmarking, internal equity, compensation decisions, and pay transparency requirements.
• Lead recruitment and selection processes to ensure timely filling of vacancies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in HR roles within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment and Labour legislation is essential.
• Fluency in English with Spanish as a bonus
