IT Business Solutions Analyst

I am delighted to be assisting an established Irish business in North Cork on their search for an experienced IT Business Solutions Analyst to join their IT team.   

Reporting to the IT Manager, this is a hybrid role in North Cork.

The successful candidate will join an experienced Business Solutions team and play a critical role in collaborating with business stakeholders in understanding requirements and identifying opportunities for process improvement, defining requirements for software implementations and supporting current business critical systems

THE ROLE:

* Collaborate with business stakeholders in the design and implementation of IT solutions.

* Strategic initiatives through the efficient and effective use of technology.

* Advise on innovative, reusable solutions to meet IT and business requirements.

* Highlight trends affecting systems and suggest appropriate improvements.

* Identify & manage risks on all system related to change projects.

* Input into and adherence to Group IT policies, Change Control Documentation & Approval process and Call Logging Procedures.

* Lead projects through the full SDLC process.

* Organise and assist User Acceptance Testing.

* Work closely with business owners and 3rd parties.

* Work with the Technical Team to troubleshoot technical issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

* A relevant 3^rd level qualification in IT or similar

* Strong Oracle experience is a must.

* Experience designing and implementing solutions that support business processing in a multi-location environment.

* Collaborating with business stakeholders to develop functional specifications, process flow diagrams and business cases.

* Developing detailed requirements and use cases for software development projects.

* Working with the Technical Team to build solutions and troubleshoot technical issues.

* Analyze and troubleshoot software issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions and preventative actions
