Mechanical Engineer

A Mechanical/ Project Engineer is required to join our North Cork based client – a marker leader in the provision of electro - mechanical services and solutions to the industrial and utilities sector . Permanent role.

THE ROLE:

* Drive efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, and foster innovation in processes and service delivery.

* Responsibility for overseeing engineering projects, optimising plant and equipment maintenance, and implementing best practices to enhance reliability and customer satisfaction.

* Role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients primarily across Ireland’s water and wastewater sectors.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).

* Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an engineering role – water/wastewater sector experience an advantage.

* Strong leadership and project management skills.

* Proven expertise in LEAN methodologies, process optimisation, and maintenance systems.

* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
