Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator - Evening Shift
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator to join an evening shift team at our in Shannon, Co. Clare. This role is critical to maintaining our high standards of product quality and regulatory compliance while supporting continuous manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute pharmaceutical manufacturing processes according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor and control production equipment including reactors, mixers, granulators, and packaging lines
- Perform in-process checks and quality control testing as required
- Document all manufacturing activities accurately in batch records and logbooks
- Ensure proper material handling and inventory management
- Maintain strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Participate in cleaning validation and equipment qualification activities
- Report any deviations, incidents, or quality concerns immediately
- Support regulatory inspections and audits as required
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams
- Ensure proper calibration and functionality of manufacturing instruments
- Maintain clean room protocols and environmental monitoring requirements
Requirements:
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated industry
- Experience with batch manufacturing processes and documentation
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and quality systems
