Process Mapping Lead (12M, Limerick)

PROCESS MAPPING LEAD required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational medical device manufacturing client in Limerick. This is contract role on an initial 12 month contract.

This is an on-site role and requires an on-site presence, A hybrid arrangement of 3+ days on-site may be facilitated for someone who doesnt live close to the site in Limerick.

The PROCESS MAPPING LEAD will serve as the expert in process analysis, visualization, and optimization for the Project, supporting the creation of comprehensive current and future state process maps.

The PROCESS MAPPING LEAD will coordinate with SMEs across US site and Limerick to conduct workshops, capture process details and support the harmonization of processes across sites. The Process Mapping Lead will create a SIPOC (Suppliers, Inputs, Process, Outputs, Customers) for all process maps and create an end state SIPOC, all risks will be documented in the Current and Future State Process with mitigations documented.

NOTE: No sponsorship is provided for this role so applicants need to already have Irish / EU citizenship OR the relevant Stamp / Visa in place.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the planning, organization, and facilitation of process mapping workshops in US site and Limerick with SMEs from all relevant functions including Planning, Operations, and Quality.
• Use tools such as Visio, Signavio, and Business Optix to capture as-is (current state) and to-be (future state) process maps.
• Develop comprehensive Value Stream Maps and detailed Process Maps across multiple levels, aligned with strategic and operational goals.
• Create Data Maps illustrating key data flows within the JJVC Make ecosystem, supporting information transparency and system integration.
• Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement.
• Collaborate with the entire Project team to ensure process maps accurately reflect current workflows and future optimization opportunities.
• Engage with SMEs, Business Analysts, and stakeholders from Jacksonville, Limerick, and other functions to gather insights, validate process details, and drive continuous improvement.
• Support the alignment of process maps across sites to enable harmonization, reduce variability, and ensure best practices are adopted.
• Translation into Business & User Requirements
• Partner with Business Analysts to translate detailed process maps into clear, comprehensive user requirements (URs) that support system development, automation, and future process execution.
• Support future state process design and ensure process maps serve as a foundation for process standardization and lean initiatives.
• Future State Process Harmonization & Optimization
• Drive the development of harmonized future state processes that enable streamlined, standardized, and scalable manufacturing operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying potential process bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement within the maps.
• Documentation & Process Governance
• Maintain accurate, version-controlled process documentation and maps.
• Support governance reviews to ensure process maps and documentation meet operational, compliance, and audit standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Process Mapping & Visualization Proficiency in Visio, Signavio, Business Optix Expert Lead creation of current and future state maps, Value Stream Maps, Data Maps.
• Workshop Facilitation & Stakeholder Engagement Expert Conduct complex process mapping sessions with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
• Process Modeling & Lean Methodologies Advanced Support process improvement initiatives, waste reduction, and process standardization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration Stakeholder Management & Communication Senior Engage SMEs and cross-functional teams for accurate process capture.
• Collaboration & Cross-Site Engagement Senior Work effectively across Jacksonville, Limerick, and other project teams.
• Manufacturing & Operations Experience, Manufacturing Process & Systems Knowledge, Senior Past experience leading process mapping in manufacturing environments.
• Data Mapping & Information Flow Visualization Advanced Support data flow mapping.
• Business Analysis Support Process to Requirements Translation Advanced Convert maps into detailed, clear user requirements supporting automation and systems design
• Continuous Improvement & Mapping Strategy Process Optimization & Future State Design Advanced Drive process harmonization, lean initiatives and standardization.
