A Program Manager is required to join our client’s team at their electronics manufacturing and design facility in Cork.
Role
* Production preparation including close co-ordination of all activities relating to product introduction, procurement of materials and production resources either internally based or as necessary to fulfil offset product requirements.
* Product introduction plans and any appropriate phase in / phase out plans with other related products.
* Sales and order demand input planning in relation to Program lead portfolio.
* Consideration and compliance with product licensing regulations.
* Each program covers the life of the program, which includes obsolescence planning and after-market support.
* Monitoring program, product cost and schedule for New Product Introduction programs.
* Communicate significant changes in program status.
* Monitoring progress and initiating corrective action as required ensuring the plan is achieved. Reporting program KPIs.
* Clear communication to all stakeholders about program status and relevant issues.
* Contribute to Program Management function within Moog Ireland through active participation in group meetings, regular report/status generation and co-operation with the other site functions
Requirements
* Degree or higher in Engineering or other related discipline and /or 5 to 10 years of electronics and Project Management experience.
* Additional courses in business, general management, project management or leadership skills would be an advantage.
* Program leadership of geographically spread multi-disciplinary teams an advantage
* Knowledge of Production process within an electronics facility an advantage
* Knowledge of Product development cycle for electronic products an advantage
