A Quality Technician is required for our client, a Cork based leading designer and manufacturer of high reliability electronic motor control solutions. On site role reporting into the site Senior Quality Engineer.
THE ROLE
* Identification and implementation of quality improvements through analysis of quality yields, process performance, controls, documentation etc.
* Review and update quality assurance documentation.
* Performing First Article Inspections.
* Supporting Quality Engineering in processing quality related data and records.
* Supporting Quality Engineering in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Conducting internal product, process and quality management systems audits as part of the Internal Audit team.
* Act as site calibration chairman and responsible for maintaining and managing calibration programs for equipment requiring periodic calibration.
Requirements:
*Minimum NFQ level 6 Certificate / Diploma in in Quality, Engineering, or Science.
* Minimum 2 years working experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
