Sales Automation Engineer

A Sales Automation Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Galway based pharmaceutical company. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working at the intersection of sales, technical consultation, and engineering. You must have hands on project involvement and strategic planning, you'll contribute to driving both revenue growth and customer satisfaction !!!!

THE ROLE:

• Sales Process Involvement: Participate in all stages of the sales process, including initial discovery, project reviews, design submissions, and component installation.
• Technical Presentations: Work closely with customers to provide a technical perspective on the company's offerings.
• Collaboration for Sales: Collaborate with the Engineering Teams to obtain quotes supporting sales opportunities, and provide alternative solutions tailored to meet unique client needs.
• Customer Tools & Presentations: Assist with the development of customer presentation tools and organize end-user site visits.
• Sales & Marketing Strategy: Help develop sales and marketing strategies targeting key market sectors.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure scheduling accuracy and timely delivery for clients.
• Process Improvement: Identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis, focusing on improving quality, increasing capacity/service, and reducing product costs.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales or engineering roles.
• Education: A degree in Engineering, ideally within a mechanical discipline.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain technological solutions and product knowledge to both technical and business audiences.
• Sales Cycle Knowledge: Familiarity with the sales cycle and the role of the Projects Engineering Team in that process.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, MS Office, and financial software/systems.
• Competitive Edge: Ability to excel in competitive situations and deliver top-notch solutions under pressure.
