Senior Facilities Electrical Engineer

A Senior Facilities Electrical Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational medical device client in Galway for a fulltime on-site role on an initial 24-month contract.

The Senior Facilities Electrical Engineer will manage the maintenance of the electrical infrastructure on site through the site’s computerised asset management system in co-ordination with the system co-ordinator and on site electrical maintenance team.

THE ROLE:

• Responsible for day to day operation of the security access control system approving all adds, moves and deletions.
• Responsibility for management of all electrical infrastructural change requests (Power, IT, Life Safety & Security Systems) for the site and ensuring all changes are captured on the site’s computerised asset management system and recorded on site record drawings.
• Support Facilities team in maintaining asset information and assessing  equipment condition annually.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree (Level 8) in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
• 4+ years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a talented team and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
