Senior Production Manager

CareerWise Recruitment is seeking a Senior Production Manager for our client based in Cork.

This role is ideal for a people-focused leader with proven experience in guiding teams to success. The successful candidate will foster a quality-first culture, ensure excellent customer service, and support business growth. You will champion continuous improvement across products and processes while driving strong team engagement and performance.

THE ROLE:
* Influences strategic direction for the value stream. Fosters a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance for a team of 100+.
* Champions operational excellence and customer-centric strategies, ensuring delivery of a balanced scorecard across safety, quality, service, cost, and people.
* Forms strong collaborative relationships with Engineering & Quality Manager peers.
* Develops strong rapport with local and global customers/ support functions. Builds influential partnerships across global leadership teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
* Provides leadership to multiple managerial layers, shaping organizational capability and succession planning. Drives talent strategy, leadership development, and employee engagement across diverse teams and shifts.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's Degree (HETAC level 8) in a Business/Engineering or other related discipline.
* Ideally 8 + years experience in a Leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent leadership skills and demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships.
* Results driven with a proven ability to deliver targets and meet deadlines.
