Senior Project Engineer

A Senior Project Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational medical device client in Galway for a fulltime on-site role on an initial 18-month contract.

The Senior Project Engineer will work cross-functionally and play a key role across released product management, including sustaining operations projects, product lifecycle management, and post-market quality and regulatory activities.

THE ROLE:

• Manage projects with well-defined program plans and delivery methodologies, within the operating unit or a collaboration across the business.
• Take initiative & lead a team to solve problems or execute on processes and systems.
• Collaborate cross functionally and across the business to solve issues through information exchange, influence, and involved persuasion without direct exercise of command to gain cooperation of other parties on program execution plans.
• Execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Level 8) in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in the medical device industry.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a talented team and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
• Good organizational, presentation and project management skills.
