Structural Design Manager

A Structural Design Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our manager based Civil Engineering Consultancy company. If you have proven experience delivering medium-to-large scale projects within consultancy environments then this is the position for you !!!.

THE ROLE:

• Lead, manage, and mentor the structural design team, ensuring high-quality work and efficient project delivery.

• Oversee preparation of structural engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and technical reports.

• Perform detailed design reviews, quality checks, and technical approvals.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Civil, MEP, Architecture, and BIM.

• Manage project timelines, resources, and priorities to deliver within deadlines.

• Represent the team in client meetings, technical discussions, and progress reviews.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of modern design tools and workflows.

• Provide technical guidance and professional development support to engineers and designers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s).

• Minimum 7–10 years relevant experience in structural engineering design.

• Proficiency using engineering design and drafting software, with the ability to produce detailed, high-standard technical designs and drawings.

• Strong working knowledge of Robot, STAAD.Pro, QSE, or similar structural analysis software.

• Proven experience delivering medium-to-large scale projects within consultancy environments.
