Supply Chain Planner (12M, Cork)

SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER / ANALYST required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational pharmaceutical client for their DPEM (Drug Product External Manufacturing) department at their facility in Cork. Initial 12 month contract on offer and hybrid working arrangement is available.

The SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER / ANALYST role will focus on supporting Supply Chain operations for 1 or more contract manufacturers. The role will be based in Cork but will report to a European Manager. Ideally need to have strong system skills including SAP and supporting an external manufacturing function would be a distinct advantage.

THE ROLE:

• Member of DPEM Joint Process Teams representing IHL and owning transactional parts of supply chain management
• Use LSupply Chain Standards, processes and metrics to analyse supply chain performance related to customer service and inventory management.
• Establish an effective working relationship with supply chain personnel in each site that is supplied by relevant supply chains.
• Maintain an active network with other supply chain groups (e.g. Elexsa, DPEM, Global Supply Chain)
• Contribute to Supply Chain improvement projects and continuous improvements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree qualified in relevant discipline.
• 3+ years experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience supporting an external manufacturing function would be a distinct advantage.
• Good knowledge and familiarization with SAP together with experience of GMP systems such as Trackwise and Veeva Quality Docs.
