Systems Integration Engineer

A Systems Integration Engineer is needed by Careerwise Recruitment for our North Cork based client. The role is to integrate multiple IT systems across EDI and Cloud to generate business efficiencies.

THE ROLE:

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions between internal systems and third-party applications. This role ensures seamless data flow and communication between different partners, platforms and applications, enhancing overall operational efficiency.

• System Integration: Develop and maintain integration solutions using APIs, middleware, and other technologies to connect internal and external systems.
• API Management: Work with API management tools and integration platforms.
• Troubleshooting: Monitor and resolve integration issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for integration processes, configurations, and protocols.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3rd level degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years working with integration tools, EDI, API management or related field.
• Knowledge of integration tools and technologies (e.g., APIs, RESTful services, SOAP, middleware).
• Experience with API gateways and Integration platforms
• Excellent communication skills needed to drive projects
