Account Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and ambitious Account Manager to join a rapidly expanding Irish technology business operating within the global corporate merchandise and branded products sector. The Role

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Account Manager you will take responsibility for managing and growing a portfolio of key multinational and enterprise accounts. The primary commercial focus of the role will be generating new business and additional revenue, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships, expand into new teams and departments, and increase the range of services provided to each account.

Key Responsibilities to include:

  • Manage, develop, and grow a portfolio of existing strategic and multinational client accounts.
  • Proactively identify new business and revenue opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Develop relationships with additional stakeholders, teams, and departments within client organisations.
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships that generate repeat and expanded business.
  • Achieve agreed monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client's business, objectives and requirements and identify opportunities where the company can add further value.
  • Work closely with project managers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully and on time.
  • Communicate relevant customer feedback to the Product Team, including platform enhancement and functionality requests.
  • Maintain accurate account, pipeline, and opportunity information within the company's CRM.
  • Contribute positively to a high-performance, collaborative, and results-oriented company culture.

Skills & Experience that we need

·      A commercially ambitious professional with a strong track record in B2B account management, relationship development, and revenue growth.

·      3+ years' experience in a B2B customer-facing, account management, or commercial role.

·      A demonstrable track record of growing existing accounts and achieving revenue targets.

·      A strong understanding of the B2B sales process and the ability to identify and progress commercial opportunities.

·      Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills.

·      Strong communication and presentation skills, with a polished and professional approach.

·      Strong organisational and analytical capabilities.

·      Experience in project or event management would be advantageous.

·      Experience working effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

·      Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

·      The ability and willingness to commute regularly to the company's Nenagh headquarters.

·      Someone who is positive, energetic, and commercially driven, but who is equally committed to being a strong team player.

·      Genuine can-do attitude, take ownership of their responsibilities and be willing to contribute beyond the immediate boundaries of their role when required.

·      Possess a growth mindset, high levels of personal accountability and a genuine ambition to succeed as part of a growing business.

·      Enjoys collaboration, moves quickly, solves problems rather than escalating them, and takes pride in delivering an excellent experience for clients.

The Offer

This is a permanent hybrid (3 days in the office / 2 days WFH) position offering a competitive salary plus OTE, to reflect the complexities and responsibilities of the role, plus benefits package, depending on the successful candidate’s experience.

Applicants must have unrestricted permission to work in Ireland, be available to interview in person, and the successful applicant will be expected to work regularly from the company's headquarters in Nenagh and therefore must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Nenagh.
