Business Development Consultant - Donegal and NI

My client, a leading distributer of high-end skincare brands are recruiting for a Business Development Consultant for Donegal and Northern Ireland. This is a field-based sales role  covering Northern Ireland and Donegal, targeting mainly Salons, Clinics and Hotels and it has  excellent potential for sales growth.

 

This role would suit someone with several years of Sales experience as well as a knowledge and passion for skincare.

Primary Duties

Job Responsibilities Will include but not be limited to:

  • Acquire suitable new accounts for all brands via presentation to prospects in your Territory – we have several brands for which you will receive full training.
  • Agree goals with your clinic accounts and provide them with the tools to achieve these goals and ultimately grow their sales of the brands.
  • Utilise Phocas software reporting system to gain a key understanding of the accounts in your territory in order to plan your own strategies to develop these businesses.
  • Provide the first line of communication with each account - update on new products, treatments, marketing materials, company promotions and news, answer questions and be proactive in providing insights that will help drive product development.
  • Ensure all accounts have adequate product inventories, proper treatment product stock, and extensive presence of all marketing collateral.
  • Analyse and report on competitor presence in the Territory.
  • Report on Territory activities via frequent weekly contact with sales manager and via weekly reports on CRM.
  • Work to engage our stockists with our brand promotions campaigns to grow their business.
  • Attend our brand training regularly to stay current with brand knowledge
  • Ensure all your account teams have the correct level of brand training - knowledge is the key to success.
  • Engage with stockists on planning, organisation and running of events, and host key events from time to time.
  • Educate your stockists on building brand awareness through social media.
  • Work to key performance indicators as agreed with the sales manager.
