Employee Relations Executive

Are you an experienced HR or legal professional, with a strong career focus on employee or industrial relations, who is now looking for a new challenge? My client, a high profile organisation with a national & international focus are now looking to hire an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join the Limerick city based team & support their clients across the Mid-West region.

This role is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate with a strong HR or Legal services background who is looking for a new opportunity in employee relations, or for a candidate with a more generalist HR/legal background but who is now looking to specialise in the function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure delivery of high quality HR, ER & IR services to clients.
  • Provide technical expertise & specialist advice in response to client/member queries & issues.
  • Review policies & procedures to ensure compliance with statutory & legislative obligations.
  • Prepare complex ER reports & written submissions on behalf of members.
  • Provide training & L&D supports when & where needed.
  • Represent the organisation with external stakeholders & at representative bodies & events.
  • Keep abreast of changes & developments in Irish (& where applicable EU/international) employment law and related HR developments.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3-4+ years relevant experience in an ER/IR focused HR or Legal role.
  • 3rd level degree qualified (or above) in either a HR or legal discipline.
  • Proven experience in working with & supporting key internal & external stakeholders/partners.
  • Strong analytical & analysis skills.
  • Full & ideally clean driving license as there will be occasional regional/national travel.

The Offer:

This position is being offered on an initial 9-12mth contract basis but with potential for extension/longer-term. Salary on offer will depend on candidate skills & experience but is expected to range up to approx. 60k. In additional there is a strong benefits & annual bonus package.

This role will be a hybrid mix of 2-3 days office based & the balance working from home/remote so could suit candidates outside the immediate Limerick region.
