Are you a qualified & senior level accountant with a proven industry or manufacturing background who is now looking for a new challenge? Or are you ambitious & looking to kick on your career into a lead Finance Manager/Controller position?

Our client, a long established & key supplier of complex engineering components & services to the global electronics sector, have now engaged with us in Cpl to hire a Finance Manager to join their team & lead out their finance function.

The Job:

As the Finance Manager, you will work closely with the site based Operations Director & will have full responsibilities across all aspects of accounting & finance for the Limerick site's operations.

More specifically you will be responsible for running the statutory accounts close processes, preparing & submitting annual budgets/forecasts, leading finance specific projects, overseeing compliance & audit requirements, reporting on cost/inventory projections, preparing complex financial KPI data & submissions to the board, resolving AP & AR queries & providing financial guidance to the executive team on all relevant matters.

Your Skills/Experience that we need:

• 3rd level degree qualified ideally.
• Qualified accountant with 4-5+ years’ post-qualification experience ideally.
• Experience gained in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be an advantage.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications & ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organisational & communications skills as well as ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of seniority.

The Offer:

This position is being offered on a permanent basis with salary depending on skills/experience but expected to range between 70-80k. 

This role will be initially fully office based but with the option of 1-2 days hybrid/WFH after approx. 6 months.
