The Job:
As a key part of the team & reporting directly to the FC with a dotted line to the CFO, your duties will be focused on the preparation of monthly & annual management accounts as well as supporting business unit managers with their departmental finance needs & projects.
More specifically you will manage the month end close processes, complete P&L reviews, prepare complex balance sheet & cash flow forecasts, take ownership of departmental annual budgets, implement continuous improvement initiatives, lead project teams (including for capital spend projects) & provide financial advice & guidance to operations management teams across the business.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree qualified.
- Fully qualified accountant.
- 2-3+ years industry experience with experience gained in a multinational manufacturing type of environment a significant advantage.
- Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
- Experience/knowledge in using ERP systems would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to work on your own initiative & manage projects.
The Offer:
This job is being offered on a permanent basis with salary, benefits & overall package flexible depending on candidate qualifications & career experience but expected to range to approx. 65k. In addition there will be an excellent benefits package including pension & healthcare contributions, annual bonus, educational assistances & others.
This role will be a hybrid mix of 3 days in office in Shannon with 2 days working from home/remote.
Candidates without the relevant visa/work permit to live & work in Ireland will not be considered.
