Financial Accountant - Pharma/Med-Tech

Our client, a high profile & global multinational in the pharma/med-tech sectors are now seeking a qualified financial accountant to join their Co. Tipperary based team & have engaged with us in Cpl to help them recruit for this role.

The Job:

As a key part of the team & reporting to the site based Financial Controller, you will cover a wide range of financial duties including managing monthly close activities, fixed assets reporting, managing internal & external controls, VAT, tax & Sox compliance, assisting in the completion of annual budgets/forecasts & liaising with external auditors.

In addition to the above, you will also provide financial guidance to operations colleagues, analyse trends, lead team projects & assist both Financial Controller & Finance Manager with their duties.

Your Skills/Experience that we need:

• 3rd level qualified in a relevant discipline.
• 2-3+ years industry experience ideally gained in a multinational manufacturing environment but candidates from other sectors will also be considered.
• Excellent IT skills & exposure to ERP systems would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical & project management skills.

The Offer:

This job is being offered on a permanent basis with salary, benefits & overall package flexible depending on candidate qualifications & career experience but is expected to range 55-65k. In addition there is a strong benefits package of pension, private healthcare, educational assistances & other supports/benefits.

This role will be a hybrid mix of 3-4 days office based in Tipperary & 1-2 days remote/working from home.
