HR Administrator - Galway

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global organisation where your ideas and contributions will make a real difference.
This is an initial 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension for the right person.
About the Role
In this varied and rewarding position, you’ll play a key role in supporting employees throughout every stage of their journey. You’ll be part of a team that’s focused on delivering excellent service, solving problems efficiently, and helping shape a positive and engaging workplace culture.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting monthly payroll activities as part of a global HR project team.
- Managing a high volume of employee queries with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
- Acting as a trusted HR point of contact, providing advice on HR policies and procedures.
- Maintaining and improving HR templates, documentation, and processes.
- Accurately processing transactions in the HR system (Workday).
- Supporting benefit administration, including healthcare, pension, and cycle-to-work schemes.
- Managing leave of absence requests, including system updates and employee communication.
- Preparing employment-related documents such as salary letters, visa support, and employment verification.
- Assisting with ongoing HR initiatives and projects aligned to business priorities.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related area.
- CIPD certification (or working towards it) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ HR experience — ideally in payroll, absence management, employee relations, or immigration support.
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders and providing excellent service.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable prioritising and working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Workday, MS Office, and Excel.
- Great communicator who enjoys collaborating across different locations and teams.
- Analytical mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a hands-on and solutions-focused mindset.
