Position: ICT Manager

Our client is looking to hire a ICT Manager. In this role you will be responsible for directing the strategic growth, security, and day-to-day delivery of ICT services throughout the organisation. This role covers oversight of infrastructure, leadership of the ICT service desk, enhancement of cybersecurity measures, and enabling digital transformation initiatives particularly the move toward a cloud-first Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and execute an ICT roadmap that supports overall organisational objectives.
- Oversee planning activities, budgeting, procurement processes, and the lifecycle management of ICT assets.
- Take responsibility for the performance, upkeep, and security of ICT infrastructure, including systems, networks, servers, and endpoints.
- Ensure effective business continuity measures, backup processes, and disaster recovery capabilities are in place.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, and service level agreements to maintain quality and value.
- Direct the ICT service desk function to deliver efficient, user-centric support.
- Implement and manage security controls such as multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, firewalls, patch management, and identity/access controls.
- Drive digital initiatives across the organisation to improve efficiency, collaboration, and accessibility.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5 years minimum of experience in ICT infrastructure management, IT leadership, or a comparable role.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD, Entra ID, Windows Server, networking, and cybersecurity practices.
- Demonstrated experience in managing IT service desks and delivering high-quality user support.
- Proven ability to successfully deliver ICT projects, including cloud migrations and server transition initiatives.
