Marketing Communications Specialist

The Job:
This newly created role will focus primarily on internal communications across multiple sites with approx. 850 employees in diverse functions. The successful candidate will cover duties including creating & implementing cohesive, as well as meaningful, communications plans, partnering with the leadership teams on employee information focused projects, managing internal events across the organisation such as town halls & manager summits, writing & editing social media content & taking ownership of communications budgets.
In addition to these duties, you will also support teams such as HR, L&D & finance in delivering their message & projects, ensure successes are highlighted across the business & work within the wider marketing group to ensure alignment & consistency in all messaging.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree (or above) qualified in marketing, journalism or a comms focused discipline.
- 4-5+ years experience in a marketing, communications, journalism or PR focused role.
- Excellent inter-personal skills & ability to engage at all levels of seniority.
- Strong IT & creative skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects & deadlines.
The Offer:
This position is being offered as a permanent role with salary range depending on experience but expected to be approx. 50-55k with a strong additional benefits package including pension, healthcare & other additional benefits.
This role will be a hybrid role but candidates will be expected to be office based 2-3 days per week so ideally will live within a reasonable commute of the Shannon region or be willing to relocate here.
