About the Role

A leading firm in Limerick is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Executive to join their high-performing payroll team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional with 3+ years of experience—particularly within a bureau or shared services environment—to take ownership of end-to-end payroll processes and deliver top-tier service to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client payrolls across various pay frequencies (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payrolls in full compliance with PAYE, PRSI, USC, and other statutory requirements
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive payroll reports and perform reconciliations using advanced Excel functions
• Act as the primary point of contact for client payroll queries, providing clear and confident support
• Maintain meticulous records and ensure all data is managed in line with internal controls and regulatory standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline payroll processes

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of payroll experience, ideally within a bureau or shared services environment
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and reconciliations
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
• Clear and professional communication skills, with the confidence to liaise directly with clients
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently
• Desirable: IPASS qualification and/or experience with Megapay software
