Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs along with their platform architecture and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Analysis: Analyze data landscape, platform and workflows to identify areas for improvement in data handling and reporting.
- Definition of Ready: Ensure that requirements are clearly defined and ready for the development team to initiate the project.
- Prioritization: Work with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and features based on business value and impact.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of product requirements, processes, and changes for transparency and alignment.
- Collaboration: Engage with technical teams on a daily basis to define the what, ensure effective delivery, providing guidance and support throughout the sprint lifecycle.
- Acceptance Criteria: Develop clear acceptance criteria to ensure that deliverables meet the specified requirements. Review the pipelines or frameworks delivered before closing the scope of the user stories.
- Quality Management: Monitor and manage the quality of delivered data solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer/ Data Platform Product Owner/ Data Platform Technical analyst, preferably in data engineering or data analytics projects.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient with data warehousing concepts and technologies, particularly Snowflake, is a plus.
- Proficient in documentation and requirements management tools.
