Reporting Analyst
Our client, a long established financial services organisation, are now expanding their Business Analyst team & have engaged with us in Cpl to support them in filling this exciting new role in their Galway city headquarters. This position would ideally suit a qualified candidate with 1-2+ years experience in financial or business analysis who is is now looking for a new challenge, or a recently qualified graduate who is now looking to develop their career in this field.
The Job:
Working closely alongside senior analysts & developers, you will be primarily responsible for supporting continuous improvement projects across all markets & working on the development of new systems that support the company's products.
More specifically you will be tasked with supporting the collection and analysis of key data sets, quality checking reports to ensure accuracy & consistency, developing dashboards & responding to data queries, defining new process improvement opportunities, liaising with key internal stakeholders on project deadlines & assisting senior colleagues with their team KPI's.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree qualified ideally in a relevant discipline such as technology, business analytics or similar.
- 1-2+ years experience ideally gained in a systems or data focused reporting role.
- Experience gained in the banking or financial services sector will be an advantage.
- Recent graduates with a strong & relevant co-op/placement period will also be considered.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to interact with colleagues & stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent IT skills including solid experience in utilising MS Excel & Power BI.
The Offer:
This position is being offered as an initial 12 month contract. Salary will depend on candidate skills & experience but is expected to range from 35k-45k + benefits including pension contribution, life assurance, 23 days annual leave, etc. etc..
This role will be initially fully office based in Galway city for training but will then move to hybrid with 2 days working from home/remote.
