Position: Scrum Master

Location: Mayo (Hybrid, Onsite)

About the Role

Our clientis seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support their high-performing delivery teams and drive agile best practices across complex projects. This role requires a strong background in Scrum delivery combined with recognised project management expertise, including PMP qualifications.

Experience working with software solutions would be a strong advantage, particularly in environments involving customer-facing platforms. This role may involve supporting a couple of Agile teams concurrently, ensuring consistent delivery, alignment, and continuous improvement across teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for one or more teams

·       Coach and mentor teams on Scrum principles, Agile values, and continuous improvement

·       Remove impediments and manage dependencies across teams to ensure smooth delivery

·       Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency

·       Track and report on team performance, delivery metrics, and risks across multiple teams where applicable

·       Support Agile transformation initiatives and promote best practices across the organisation

Required Experience & Qualifications

·       Experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment

·       Certified Scrum Master qualification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)

·       PMP certification (or equivalent project management qualification)

·       Proven experience working with cross-functional teams delivering complex initiatives

·       Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe experience an advantage)

Key Skills & Competencies

·       Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

·       Strong leadership and coaching mindset

·       Ability to manage ambiguity and balance priorities across multiple teams

·       Experience using Agile delivery tools (e.g. Azure DevOps)

·       Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
