Senior DevOps Engineer

You'll work on a POS system that touches almost every corner of the globe. Our client's systems process millions of transactions per day. This is only possible with a secure and efficient cloud platform.

 We are looking for self starters with a passion for technology who want to help impact millions of merchant’s lives, one transaction at a time.

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

● Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.

● Design, implement and manage ephemeral development environments.

● Manage various Microservices platforms.

● Automate and maintain software delivery workflows using CI/CD pipelines.

● Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software platforms needed for projects to be completed efficiently.

● Collaborate and follow agile tools and principles in building high-quality software with weekly sprints.

● Expertly designing and implementing scalable, distributed, fault tolerant systems that satisfy complex requirements.

● Designing and implementing best practices for software development which include security, monitoring, and telemetry.

Skills You'll Have:

Jenkins, Github & Runners ,K8s, ArgoCD, Puppet, Python, GoLang, Java/Spring, NodeJS, Linux, Microservices, Gradle, Maven, NPM, Data Streaming, Cloud Providers, Terraform.

Experience You'll Bring:

● Degree in Computer Science,Computer Engineering, or in a relevant field 

● 8-10 Years of demonstrable experience of DevOps Engineering skills 

● Deep experience with object-oriented or alternative software design modes. 

● Demonstrable experience in automation and transformation 

● Experience in designing and developed for cloud based microservices 

● Experience in Cloud infrastructure with GCP, AWS cloud providers 

● Deep understanding of various functional and non-functional testing frameworks and methodologies. 

● Solid communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others at team, organisation and customer/industry facing level. 

● Experience with software development best practices for the full software engineering lifecycle
