Job Title: Senior Program Manager
Location: Galway (Hybrid)
The Role:
Our client a are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Program Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives at the intersection of IT and Finance. This role will oversee complex programs involving financial systems, enterprise software implementations, and digital transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in program management, financial operations, and technology delivery.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end program lifecycle for IT and financial initiatives related to execution of an integration project
- Develop and manage program roadmaps, budgets, timelines, and resource plans
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment with business goals
- Identify and mitigate risks across multiple projects and stakeholders
- Ensure programs meet regulatory and security standards (e.g., SOX, PCI-DSS, NIST)
- Provide executive-level reporting and insights on program performance
- Drive process improvement and change management across departments
- Foster a culture of accountability and innovation
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field (MBA or MS preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in program/project management, with at least 5 years in IT and financial domains
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Proven success managing multi-million dollar programs across global teams
- Strong understanding of Oracle financial and operational systems and IT infrastructure
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
