Our client, a highly successful retail operation based in Co. Clare are now, due to a significant increase in business levels, looking to expand their operations management team & have engaged with us in Cpl to hire an experienced Store Manager to join their energetic and enthusiastic team.

The Job:

As a key part of the senior leadership group, you will primarily be responsible for delivering exceptional standards across customer engagement & the retail operations as well as driving commercial performance & leading/motivating the store based team.

More specifically you will take an active part in the daily operations of the store, deliver a best in class customer experience, drive sales & commercial growth, conduct training & regular staff appraisals, analyse performance & implement process improvements, manage stock levels, resolve staff queries, ensure compliance with industry & regulatory standards (including H&S & HACCP) & support ongoing business planning.

Your Skills & Experience that we need:

·      3rd level qualified ideally in business studies or a related discipline. 

·      2-3+ years’ relevant store or operations management experience from the retail, supermarket or convenience sectors.

·      Proven leadership & people management skills & experience.

·      Strong communication skills & ability to engage with people at all levels.

·      Strong understanding of IT, stock control & inventory management systems.

·      Flexibility to work on a balanced & fair rota across varying shifts as required for business operational needs.

The Offer:

The role is a permanent position with base salary depending on experience/qualifications but expected to range between 45-55k. There will be additional benefits & annual performance based bonus.
