Internal and EU Audit Manager (Assistant Principal Higher Level)
The Department of Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform’s (DPENDR) mission is to drive the delivery of better public services, living standards and infrastructure for the people of Ireland.
The Internal and EU Audit Unit of DPENDR is a shared service internal audit provider to both DPENDR and the Department of Finance and is also the designated National Audit Body for a number of European Union co-financed programmes.
To support the work of the Unit, the Department now has a vacancy for an Internal and EU Audit Manager (at Assistant Principal Higher level).
Reporting to the Head of the Unit, the successful candidate will have responsibility for preparing reports for submission to the European Commission and the Secretaries General of the Department of Finance and DPENDR. In addition, they will plan and organise annual schedules of audits, allocate audit assignments to auditors, supervise audit work and carry out reviews of audit files.
