Account Executive - Commercial Lines

Location: Sandyford, Dublin

Work Model: Hybrid

Reports To: Team Lead, Commercial Lines

Join a growing Commercial Lines team where you'll play a key role in managing and developing an established portfolio of clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Executive to partner with an Account Director, deliver exceptional client service, and contribute to the continued success of a high-performing brokerage team.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Sales Management

  • Manage all aspects of client insurance requirements, including renewals, mid-term alterations, and claims handling in line with company processes.
  • Provide professional account support to Account Directors on commercial client portfolios.
  • Maintain adherence to internal procedures and compliance standards at all times.
  • Monitor and manage aged debt and premium collection effectively.
  • Ensure all audit and management requirements are fully met.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through trust, transparency, and proactive service.
  • Anticipate client needs and deliver tailored solutions across all commercial insurance lines.
  • Handle customer queries, quotes, and requests efficiently and professionally.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in every interaction.
  • Take ownership of accuracy and quality in all communications and documentation.
  • Respond to all internal and external requests in a timely and client-focused manner.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with your designated Account Director to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment where targets and goals are shared.
  • Participate in team initiatives that enhance overall performance and client satisfaction.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all client files meet regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with the compliance and management teams to uphold best practices across all activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum CIP qualification (or working toward completion)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to change
  • Solid technical and product knowledge in commercial insurance
  • Well-organised and structured approach to managing multiple client needs
