Account Executive - Commercial Insurance

Location: Santry

Employment Type: Full-time

Join a dynamic, high-performing Commercial Insurance team where you'll play a key role in managing and developing an established portfolio of corporate clients. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious insurance professional to take ownership of client relationships, work alongside experienced Account Directors, and contribute to business growth through outstanding service and proactive account management.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Sales Management

  • Manage all client insurance requirements including renewals, mid-term alterations, and claims handling in line with company standards.
  • Support Account Directors in servicing and developing key corporate clients.
  • Identify and deliver cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the commercial portfolio.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are adhered to with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage premium collection and aged debt efficiently.
  • Meet compliance and audit standards in all aspects of work.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients through proactive communication and reliable service delivery.
  • Handle all client queries and issues promptly, maintaining the highest standard of professionalism.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Consistently deliver a professional, solution-focused service that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Take ownership of accuracy and quality in all documentation and correspondence.
  • Respond to all internal and external requests in a timely, professional manner.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Account Directors to ensure seamless service and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team targets and shared goals.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture built on trust, accountability, and shared success.

Compliance and Quality

  • Maintain the highest compliance standards and ensure client files meet audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum CIP Qualification (or working toward completion)
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities
  • Solid technical and product knowledge within commercial insurance
  • Positive, adaptable attitude with a focus on delivering results
