A credit union in South Dublin is seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Lending Supervisor to lead their lending operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily lending activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and coaching loan officers, while maintaining high credit quality standards.

The Role: what does the job involve?

• Supervise and support loan officers and lending staff in daily operations.
• Review, approve, or recommend loan applications within assigned authority limits.
• Ensure adherence to lending policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
• Resolve escalated member/customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Collaborate with underwriting, compliance, and branch leadership teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
• Support audits and regulatory examinations as needed.

The Candidate:

• APA (Accredited Product Advisor) is a requirement - candidates without this will not be considered.
• QFA (Qualified Financial Advisor) is
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field is advantageous.
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in lending/financial services.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Familiarity with lending regulations and compliance standards in Ireland.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
