Expense Administrator/Accountant - Global Investment Firm
Engage People Recruitment is delighted to partner with a global investment firm as it continues to expand its operations presence in Ireland. We are currently recruiting an Expense Admin to join a lean, high-performing team based in Dublin.
The Company
This organisation is a long-established investment manager with well over $30bn in assets across a wide range of strategies. It operates internationally, with teams based across Europe, North America, and Asia, and is recognised for its disciplined approach to capital deployment and risk management.
The Role
This role is part of a new Dublin office, supporting the day-to-day accounting and administration of fund expenses and records, working closely with the global Fund Accounting team.
What you'll be doing:
Oversee the allocation and payment of fund expenses, collaborating with global internal teams, external stakeholders, and administrators, including managing any outsourced support.
Check expense statements for accuracy and ensure correct allocation across fund entities.
Set up wires for expense payments, record transactions in the accounting system, and prepare expense accruals based on budgets and past payments.
Handle expense reporting while staying mindful of any regulatory requirements that could impact it.
Prepare quarterly summaries of fund expenses and support presentations to senior management, highlighting fund expense ratios and potential cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in preparing financial statements for various investment-related special purpose vehicles.
The Ideal Candidate
- 2-5 years of experience with expense management and reconciliation, ideally within a hedge fund
Unrestricted Irish working rights (Stamp 4 visa / EU passport)
ACA/ACCA is a plus
Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
