Account Executive Film and Media Insurance

The Opportunity
As an Account Executive, you will manage and develop a portfolio of clients operating across film, television, production and media. You will work closely with producers, studios and creative organisations, advising on their insurance requirements across the full policy lifecycle.
This role combines relationship management, technical expertise and business development, making it ideal for someone who wants to step into a more dynamic and commercially focused position.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of clients within the film, television and media sectors
Act as a trusted advisor, gaining a deep understanding of client operations and risk exposures
Maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and high service standards
Support new business development and identify opportunities within the media and entertainment space
Prepare and present tailored insurance solutions to prospective and existing clients
Manage renewals, ensuring competitive cover and appropriate policy structures
Negotiate with insurers on terms, premiums and coverage
Provide guidance on specialist film and production insurance risks
Work collaboratively with internal teams to support the growth of the media book
Ensure all activity is compliant with regulatory and internal requirements
Maintain accurate records and manage documentation efficiently
About You
Minimum of 2 years experience within commercial insurance, ideally in a brokerage environment
CIP qualification is essential
Strong knowledge of the commercial insurance market
Proven experience managing client portfolios and handling renewals
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities for growth
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
An interest in film, television or the wider media industry would be advantageous
