Mortgage Advisor

Location: Dundrum or Drogheda (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days remote)

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years' Mortgage Advisory experience

The Opportunity

Our client, a boutique financial services firm, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Mortgage Advisor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, generating business, and delivering high-quality, client-focused mortgage advice.

The successful candidate will be supported with some warm leads while also having the autonomy to generate their own business. With a €30 million annual drawdown target and a strong support structure in place, this role offers genuine earning potential, with six-figure OTE achievable.

The role can be based from either the Dundrum or Drogheda office, operating on a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mortgage Advisor, your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Providing expert mortgage advice across residential and personal mortgage products
  • Managing clients through the full mortgage lifecycle, from initial consultation to loan drawdown
  • Generating new business through self-sourced leads, referrals, introducers, and networking
  • Managing and converting company-provided leads effectively
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with:
  • New and existing clients
  • Solicitors, estate agents, and professional introducers
  • Lending institutions
  • Conducting detailed fact-finds and affordability assessments
  • Preparing, submitting, and tracking mortgage applications with lenders
  • Ensuring all advice and documentation is fully compliant with Central Bank regulations
  • Maintaining accurate client records and case notes on internal systems
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and drawdowns
  • Working consistently towards achieving a €30m annual drawdown target
  • Keeping up to date with market changes, lender criteria, and regulatory updates

The Ideal Candidate

You will be:

  • A self-motivated, proactive Mortgage Advisor
  • Comfortable generating leads and building your own pipeline
  • Commercially focused with a strong results-driven mindset
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • A confident communicator with a professional, consultative approach

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Mortgage Advisory role
  • Relevant mortgage / financial services qualifications (QFA or equivalent)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong knowledge of the Irish mortgage market and lender criteria
