A respected and long-standing financial services provider is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its operational and administrative activities. This member-focused organisation is dedicated to delivering excellent service, maintaining strong governance, and upholding the highest regulatory standards. About the Role

As Operations Manager, you will form part of the senior leadership team, reporting to the Chief Executive and working closely with the Board. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations across branches and central functions, including IT systems, compliance, credit control, and staff management. The role involves driving operational efficiencies, supporting digital transformation, and contributing to the organisation's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all branch and central operations.

  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, legal, and industry requirements.

  • Oversee IT systems, process improvements, digital development, and supplier relationships.

  • Manage credit control, lending processes, and the performance of the loan portfolio.

  • Lead and develop operational staff through effective performance management and training.

  • Champion continuous improvement in member experience and service delivery.

  • Support strategic planning and delivery of key organisational initiatives.

  • Maintain strong standards of governance, risk management, and internal control.

What You'll Need

  • Proven senior leadership experience in operations, ideally within financial services or a member-based organisation.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, governance, and risk management frameworks.

  • Excellent strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering operational improvement and managing change.

  • Professionalism, integrity, and a strong focus on member service.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
