Geotechnical/Civil Engineer (Piling)
Cork/Munster/Leinster
€35-65K + Vehicle + Bonus
Required for leding International Piling & Ground Improvement contractor undertaking projects in Limerick and Cork initially, moving to a large project in Limerick.
Role
Ensure the running and delivery of ground improvement projects and will be involved in day-to-day to technical and site operations.
Support site and office teams across Ireland.
Technical delivery, execution, coordination, quality control, and ensuring compliance with safety, design, and engineering standards. The role involves both site-based and office-based responsibilities, contributing to project planning, execution, and reporting.
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology (BEng) with:
Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology (MEng, MSc) with 2–5 years’ experience; or 3–8 years’ experience in geotechnical engineering, piling, ground improvement or site investigations.
- Strong understating of geotechnical design from first principles including but not limited to ground improvement, foundation behaviour, retaining structures, site investigations and slope stability assessments.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Autocad.
- Knowledge of software such as Plaxis and Slope/W is beneficial.
