Maintenance Team Leader - County Cork.
Main Responsibilities
• In this role you will act as IWS (Integrated Work Systems) Maintenance lead. This role requires coaching teams, facilitating process improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• In the absence of the Maintenance Manager the role requires taking on full maintenance manager responsibilities and ensuring the continuity of maintenance operations.
• Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance team with the Maintenance Manager, including determining needed repairs and improvements, establishing project priorities and assigning work tasks, scheduling work to most effectively meet the needs of production with minimal disruption.
• Overseeing the execution of all maintenance tasks with the Maintenance Manager, both planned and reactive.
• Attending regular team meetings to align with operational and company objectives.
Interested applicants should have:
• Relevant City & Guilds qualification as a minimum (electrical preferable)
• At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in a leadership position of a maintenance or engineering team.
• Excellent people management and coaching skills.
• Ability to manage a team and prioritise maintenance schedules effectively
• A comprehensive technical background and competence.
