The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with strong technical skills, committed to high standards of safety, quality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and improve operational efficiency.

  • Maintain all plant equipment and building services, including chillers, compressors, air handling units, heating, water systems, and electrical infrastructure.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults quickly and effectively.

  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.

  • Support and promote health & safety initiatives, leading by example in line with best practice.

  • Accurately record all maintenance activities and report work completed.

  • Use a permit-to-work system or similar safety protocols for maintenance activities.

  • Monitor spare parts and consumables to support cost-effective inventory management.

  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities within the maintenance function.

  • Experience in facilities maintenance, including HVAC and utility services.

  • Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and safe systems of work.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks under pressure.

  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset with attention to detail.

  • Trustworthy, reliable, and ethical in all dealings.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Hands-on knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems in a production setting.

  • Exposure to TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) or similar maintenance methodologies is desirable.
