Mill Operational Support Specialist - County Meath.

The Operational Support role is a dynamic and integral position that works across all facets of the business, including Mill Production, Maintenance, Process Operations, Mine Planning, MOC and Training Coordination. This role ensures seamless communication and operational efficiency between departments, supporting both strategic planning and day-to-day execution.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of 3 direct reports to support daily mill operations and maintenance planning.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and assist Process Operations in achieving production targets.
• Act as liaison between Mill Production, Maintenance, Surface Facilities and Projects for aligned operations.
• Collaborate with Mine Planning to integrate production schedules and ensure operational readiness.
• Support prioritization of maintenance work orders to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts.
• Oversee training coordination, SOP development, and compliance with operational standards.
• Participate in budgeting, procurement, and management of maintenance equipment and consumables.
• Provide on-call weekend cover and deputise for senior roles as required.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, HR, and contractor management standards, including safety walks.

Experience and Qualifications requirements:
A recognised degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering. Qualifications in Business, Operations, or a related technical field are also considered
relevant.
Technical or industrial safety certification (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH) is advantageous.
Additional training in maintenance planning, production systems, or project management is beneficial.
Strong IT literacy, with formal training or experience in digital maintenance and production systems preferred.

This role will be full time, Monday to Friday 7.5 hour days, and will require the successful applicant to provide on-call weekend cover as part of a team roster.
