A leading Irish main contractor is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. With a long-standing reputation for delivering large-scale residential, commercial, and industrial projects across the country, they offer the chance to work on some of the most high-profile developments in the market.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and contract management from pre-construction through to final account. You'll be joining a collaborative and experienced team, with strong support structures in place and a steady pipeline of upcoming work.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and report on project budgets and costs
• Oversee subcontractor packages and procurement
• Support contract negotiations and change management
• Ensure accurate valuations, progress claims, and final accounts
• Work closely with project teams to monitor financial performance and risks

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in a QS role, ideally with a main contractor
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with relevant software (e.g. Excel, Buildsoft, CostX, or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
