  • Review and approve project preliminaries including staffing, logistics and temporary works.
  • Engage with supply chain partners to review and validate inputs on design deliverables, lead-in times, labour, plant and programme durations.
  • Review risks and opportunities within programmes and advise on mitigation strategies, including float and time risk allowances.

Reporting, Progress & As-Built Information

  • Evaluate and define tracking schedules to monitor subcontractor programmes.
  • Collate and review as-built programmes, identifying deviations from baseline schedules.
  • Ensure programme impact assessments are accurately reflected within change requests.
  • Define and oversee the use of 4D/2D phasing information for projects.
  • Consolidate and validate output rates to track live project progress and feed insights into pre-construction activities.
  • Lead peer reviews of planning outputs to maintain consistency and quality across the region.

Management & Leadership

  • Lead the regional planning team, ensuring consistency in planning documents, formats and outputs.
  • Report programme performance and associated risks to regional leadership on a regular basis.
  • Conduct performance and development reviews for planners, ensuring professional growth and training needs are met.

  • Independently review programme positions for all regional contracts during monthly review meetings.
  • Establish quality standards for planning outputs across the region.
  • Benchmark programme periods using subcontractor input, historic data and team consultation.
  • Support leadership teams in implementing business improvement initiatives related to planning and programme management.
