Our client is a leading provider of innovative heating and cooling systems in Ireland, with over 40 years of experience in energy-efficient technologies. They specialise in commercial and domestic heating solutions including heat pumps, solar thermal, and control systems. The team is committed to quality, innovation, and sustainability.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Refrigeration Technician to join the company's growing technical services team. This is a hands-on senior role ideal for an experienced technician with a strong background in refrigeration systems, including air-to-water heat pumps. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance of advanced heating and cooling equipment across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
• Commission commercial and residential heat pump systems
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heat pump equipment
• Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance work to ensure optimal system performance
• Supervise junior technicians and provide technical guidance and training when required
• Liaise with project engineers and customers to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Complete and maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with F-Gas regulations, health and safety standards, and company procedures

Interested applicants should be:

• Qualified Refrigeration Technician (Level 6 or equivalent)
• Have full, valid F-Gas certification
• Minimum 5 years' experience in refrigeration and/or heat pump systems (commercial and domestic)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full clean driving licence (company vehicle provided)
• Comfortable reading wiring diagrams, commissioning reports, and technical manuals
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

It is an advantage (not essential) to have:
• Experience with R290 or CO₂-based systems
• Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and system controls
